Judi Tompkins

Regional CEO and Franchise Owner

Judi has over 30 years business experience in the accounting and healthcare industries. Helping people to find jobs in these times is incredibly satisfying for her. Judi is an avid hiker, and hopes to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail someday. Judi lives with her family in the Atlanta area.

Sara McBride 

Regional COO and Franchise Owner

Sara has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and hospitality industries. She was born in Atlanta Georgia but grew up in southern California where she fostered her love for the outdoors. Having lived in Florence Italy for a year she became passionate about travel, art history, and different world cultures. Sara and her husband now live in Atlanta and have two adorable little papillons which they treat as their children. In her limited free time, Sara enjoys dancing competitively in ballroom dancing.

Trisha McDuffie

Atlanta and Milledgeville Human Resources Director and Office Manager

Trisha joined ATC in 2010 and has over 35 years of human resources experience. Trisha was born in Tokyo Japan but has lived in Georgia most of her life. Trisha is a lifelong Clemson Tiger fan and an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness and Lyme Disease Awareness.

Sierra Baker 

Thomasville Branch Manager

Sierra currently resides in Cairo, GA. She is a mother of two awesome kids and a stand-in mom to her younger brother. Sierra graduated from Southern Regional Technical College as a certified Phlebotomist and recently became a certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Sierra has 15 years of experience in the healthcare field.  Sierra enjoys planning parties and spending time with her kids and family. Her daily goal is to be the reason someone smiles.

Kara Brown

Atlanta and Charleston Human Resources Manager

Kara has been with ATC since 2017 doing payroll and human resources. She has an extensive background in hospitality and restaurant management. Kara attended college at the University of South Carolina Upstate and graduated with a BA in Psychology. Living in Charleston, South Carolina,  Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at the beach or outdoors as well as reading in her spare time.

 

Adam Christenson

Atlanta CSB Credentialing Specialist

Adam moved to Middle Georgia from Southern California in 2017 with his amazing wife of eighteen years and five beautiful children. Adam enjoys working in a team environment and is looking forward to working with the ATC family. When he is not working, Adam loves spending time with his wife and children going fishing, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. Adam also enjoys woodworking, drawing, painting, and doing tattoos in his free time.

Shanna Christenson

Atlanta CSB Manager

Shanna has worn many titles throughout her career, including Human Services Administrator, Bookkeeper, Mental Health Residential Manager, and Nurse Staffing Manager, however, her true passion is being a part of a team that she can help thrive and grow regardless of the job title she holds. Originally from Southern California, Shanna has been a Middle Georgia transplant since 2017 and loves Southern living like she was born to be here. When not working, Shanna spends her time chasing around 3 amazing sons, and 2 beautiful daughters, and being a wife to her fantastically supportive husband of 19 years.

Thea Deaton

Charleston Sales Manager

Thea Deaton grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where all of her immediate family still resides. She is the newest addition to the ATC family and has 6+ years of sales experience. Thea is a professional photographer and currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina. Thea loves to hike, bike, fish, and her latest hobby is pickleball.

Michae Edwards

Milledgeville Payroll and Credentialing Specialist

Michae is a native of Washington County and moved to Milledgeville, GA in 2018. Michae graduated from Oconee Fall Line Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administrative Technology. She loves spending time with her husband, her 21-year-old son, her family, and friends. Michae also loves hunting, fishing, swimming, and movies. Michae loves being involved in helping others when she can and enjoys seeing smiling, happy faces. Michae seeks to improve her knowledge on a daily basis and enjoys working with others. She gives all the honor, praise, and glorification to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bobbie Jean Goodman

Charleston Recruiter

Bobbie Jean has been working for ATC Charleston since 2019. She is returning to ATC after a 15-year hiatus in teaching. Bobbie Jean taught elementary school in Dorchester District Two and loved every minute of it. During that time, she learned to multi-task, become a good communicator, and work together as a team. She looks forward to the new challenges ATC will bring her way. Bobbie Jean is a Charleston native, graduating from College of Charleston in 2004. She lives in West Ashley with her husband and two incredible children. Bobbie Jean enjoys spending time with them at home and out around town. They keep her very busy with all their many interests! As a family they enjoy riding bikes, movie night, swimming, cooking, and traveling. Bobbie Jean looks forward to meeting your needs as a nurse and helping you find the perfect opportunity! “Love your work, then you will find pleasure in mastering it”.

Nakia Heyward

Charleston Recruiting Assistant

Nakia Heyward was born in North Charleston South Carolina but was raised in Goose Creek South Carolina, where she currently resides. For over 27 years, Nakia’s professional background has been in healthcare. She joined the ATC family in August of 2021 as an On-Call Coordinator and she recently transitioned to her new role as a recruiting assistant. Nakia is married with four beautiful children (three boys and one girl) and has two granddaughters and one fur baby. Nakia enjoys spending time with family and hosting and catering parties in her free time. Nakia enjoys meeting new people and being able to work with all the different healthcare professionals that have chosen this rewarding profession. She is a firm believer in, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life”.

Lindsey Knutsen 

Charleston Recruiting Assistant

Lindsey was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she currently resides with her boyfriend and two dogs. Lindsey has had the pleasure of wearing many different hats within the business office including recruiting, payroll, billing, and accounting. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with loved ones going to see live music, sightseeing, and trying new restaurants.

Olivia McDuffie

Milledgeville Payroll Assistant and Office Clerk

 Olivia resides in Milledgeville, GA. She received her Associate’s Degree in English and is currently attending Georgia College and State University to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in English. Olivia is a book and music enthusiast and enjoys attending concerts and spending time with her family, friends, and her Shih Tzu dog, Susie-Q.

 

Elma Ocasio

Atlanta and Charleston HR Assistant

Elma Ocasio comes from a small town named Derventa in Bosnia and Hercegovina. During the Ex-Yugoslavian war in 1992, Elma and her family immigrated to Germany where she lived for 7 years. In 1999, Elma and her family settled in Georgia and have called it home ever since. She now lives in Acworth with her husband (Joe) and 2 kids (Daris and Jayla). Elma enjoys spending time with her family, working on small DIY projects around the house, and loves weekend trips to go sightseeing.

Sonia Pennell

On-call Agent

Sonia is a Charleston native. She and her 17-year-old daughter, Faith, currently live with her father in Moncks Corner, SC just off of the Cooper River. They have a vegetable garden, six super sweet bunny rabbits, two chickens, and a rooster that definitely rules the roost! Sonia raised her daughter on her own for 16 years. She is finally engaged to the man of her dreams. They love spending family time with all of their children and they treasure making memories everywhere they go.  Sonia has a passion for history and cannot wait to teach the younger girls about the founding of our country.

Abigail Prater

Atlanta and Charleston Credentialing Specialist

Abigail attended Georgia College and State University, receiving her BA English (Literature) degree in 2018. She has worked in the healthcare staffing industry for almost 9 years, and lives in the metro Atlanta area with her husband. Together they have four cats, a dog, and a turtle. Her hobbies and interests include animal rescue, reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Jane Torres

Charleston Payroll Manager

Jane has over 20 years of experience hiring, building teams, and processing payroll for multiple hospitality groups. Jane grew up in Arizona, is an Arizona State Alumnus, and currently resides outside of NYC with her husband, two kids, and three fur babies.

Dy’Asia Walden 

Thomasville HR Assistant

Dy’Asia Walden is 21 years old and currently resides in Cairo, GA. She is in school to obtain her Associate’s Degree in social work. Dy’Asia graduated high school in 2019, attended Middle Georgia University, and recently began her work career in the healthcare field. Dy’Asia enjoys spending time with her one-year-old child and taking pictures for fun.

Amber Willingham

Thomasville Recruiter

Amber currently resides in her hometown of Camilla, GA. In December 2021, she received her degree in Healthcare Management from the illustrious Albany State University. In the future, Amber plans on obtaining her Master’s Degree in Public Health. During her free time, she enjoys singing, cooking, journaling, shopping, and traveling.

Valarie Yarborough

Charleston Senior Recruiter

Valarie Yarborough moved to beautiful Charleston in 2013 but is a North Carolinian at heart! Valarie’s professional background has been in the recruiting and healthcare industries for the past 17 years. She joined ATC Healthcare in September of 2015. Valarie loves the challenges of the healthcare staffing industry.
