Judi Tompkins
Regional CEO and Franchise Owner
Judi has over 30 years of business experience in the accounting and healthcare industries, with a passion for connecting people to meaningful job opportunities. She finds immense satisfaction in making a real difference in the lives of those she serves—helping healthcare professionals find the right roles while supporting organizations that rely on their skills and dedication. Beyond work, Judi is an avid hiker with a dream of thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. She’s also a big fan of watching Marvel movies and reading fantasy novels. Judi shares her home in the Atlanta area with her husband and their four Maine Coon cats—Georgia, Dusty, Maisie, and Dante — who keep life entertaining.
Sara McBride
Regional COO and Franchise Owner
Sara brings over 20 years of diverse experience to her role as the Director of Operations, combining her expertise in operational excellence and staff management with a passion for innovative problem-solving. Outside of work, she channels her creativity through ballroom dancing, painting, and cooking, and shares her home with her husband and their five beloved fur babies—two Ragdoll cats, two Papillon puppies, and a rescued Pomeranian.
Trisha McDuffie
Director of HR and Milledgeville Branch Manager
Trisha joined ATC in 2010 and brings 40 years of human resources experience. While she was born in Tokyo, Japan, she has called Georgia home for most of her life. She is a lifelong Clemson Tigers enthusiast. Trisha is a strong advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness and Lyme Disease Awareness and she uses her voice to raise awareness about these important causes to make a genuine impact.
Amber Basso
Recruiter
Amber graduated from Nichols College with a bachelor’s degree in general business and has been working in recruiting since 2022. Amber loves getting to know people, building genuine connections, and helping candidates find opportunities that truly fit their goals while supporting clients in finding the right addition to their teams.
Amber currently lives in Massachusetts but travels often to Seattle to visit family. Outside of work, she loves hiking, traveling, and spending time with her cat, Saphira.
Kara Brown
HR Manager
Kara has been with ATC since 2017 doing payroll and human resources. She has an extensive background in hospitality and restaurant management. Kara attended college at the University of South Carolina Upstate and graduated with a BA in Psychology. Living in Charleston, South Carolina, Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys at the beach or outdoors as well as reading in her spare time.
Adam Christenson
Credentialing Specialist
Adam, with a background as a Healthcare Credentialing Specialist, brings three years of experience to the table. While originally from Southern California, he now calls middle Georgia home. When he’s not dedicated to onboarding top-notch healthcare professionals, Adam enjoys indulging his artistic side through drawing and painting. Adam’s greatest joy comes from spending quality time outdoors with his four amazing children.
Elizabeth Gray
Business Development Manager
Elizabeth moved from Utah to South Carolina nearly two years ago and now lives in the countryside just outside of Charleston. With over 20 years in sales, 11 of which were in healthcare staffing, she specializes in Business Development, Account Management, and Strategic Account Program Management. She shares her home with her husband, three of their nine children, and their beloved grand puppy. When she’s not working, you’ll find her hiking, kayaking, enjoying live music, baking something delicious, or giving back through local charities. She also loves to travel, and so far, Ireland has been her favorite adventure.
Elma Ocasio
Recruiter and Account Manager
Elma comes from a small town named Derventa in Bosnia and Hercegovina. During the Ex-Yugoslavian war in 1992, Elma and her family immigrated to Germany where she lived for seven years. In 1999, Elma and her family settled in Georgia and have called it home ever since. She now lives in Acworth with her husband and two kids. Elma enjoys spending time with her family, working on small DIY projects around the house, and loves weekend trips to go sightseeing.
Sonia Pennell
On-call Agent
With over 30 years of customer service experience, Sonia brings strong problem-solving skills to her role. A lifelong member of Highland Park Baptist Church, she enjoys the tranquility of southern life along the historic Cooper River in Berkeley County, SC. A key aspiration of hers is to visit Israel, as it holds great religious significance to her, and she hopes to experience firsthand the places that have played such an important role in her beliefs.
Jane Torres
Recruiter
Jane has over 20 years of experience hiring, building teams, and processing payroll for multiple hospitality groups. Jane grew up in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Biology where she was also an ASU Cheerleader. She currently resides outside of NYC with her husband, son, daughter, and four fur babies.
Kat Weidman
Staffing Coordinator
Kathryn brings over 11 years of experience in healthcare, with a strong background in both hands-on patient care, scheduling, and workforce coordination. She is known for her ability to support teams, and keep operations running smoothly in fast-paced environments. Her work style blends strong organization, clear communication, and a people-first approach.
Outside of work, Kathryn is a mom to her teenage daughter and keeps busy with their two dogs. She enjoys getting lost in a good book, sipping tea, and unwinding during a good thunderstorm – simple moments that keep her grounded and inspired.
